This webpage documents the research output of the project Inside the frame set. The project is supported by the Austrian Science Fund (FWF) under the grant P33217 and carried out at the Faculty of Mathematics of the University of Vienna. This project is carried out within the Applied Harmonic Analysis Cluster.
This is a basic research project in (pure) mathematics. It deals with questions concerning Gabor frame sets of window functions and finding optimal sampling strategies. These questions are, however, also of practical relevance as Gabor systems and related systems are state-of-the-art in wireless communications and digital signal processing.
